Our mission is to serve the public and nursing community at large by providing education to practicing nurses to improve the delivery of quality nursing care and services. We believe that all people have inherent value and that all individuals have a potential to improve upon themselves and their nursing practice.
Our Educators
Rachel Murillo Lozano, MSN APRN FNP-BC
Rachel M. Lozano began her nursing career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse working in long term care settings in 1999. While working in this setting, she became aware of her passion for caring for the mature population and their families. In order to better serve her patients she attended the University of Texas at El Paso receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2003. After becoming a registered nurse she branched into the acute care working with adults in a Medical Telemetry unit to increase her skill set and knowledge base. With a desire to influence change in healthcare she pursued a degree in Nursing Administration with electives in Nursing Education, graduating with a Master’s Science of Nursing degree in 2005.
Since completing her MSN degree she has worked in several nursing administration positions and as a nurse educator. She began teaching in 2005 at her alma mater the University of Texas at El Paso as went on to teach at a local private college in 2006. In 2010 she founded ACE Nursing Education Services in effort to meet the needs of her local community as the sole provider of Texas Board of Nursing remedial courses in west Texas. While working in nursing education she further pursued her education with a focus on advanced practice receiving a Post-Master’s certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013. Mrs. Lozano is a currently a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner working in a primary care clinic providing care for diverse populations. She is dedicated to helping her students achieve their professional goals and further advance their knowledge in the nursing field.
